Material 1.4541 is a heat-resistant stainless steel alloy widely used across various industries. It contains 0.7% titanium, which enhances its stability and resistance to carbide precipitation and oxidation at elevated temperatures.
This stainless steel grade offers excellent strength and corrosion resistance at both high and low temperatures, making it suitable for a range of demanding applications. It performs well in environments with temperatures up to 850°C and is commonly used in equipment for oil refining, automotive exhaust systems, and more.
AISI 321 is recommended for applications with temperatures up to approximately 900°C, combining high strength, resistance to scaling, phase stability, and resistance to corrosion in aqueous environments.
