Material 1.4541 is a heat-resistant stainless steel alloy widely used across various industries. The addition of 0.7% titanium enhances its stability, making it highly resistant to carbide precipitation and oxidation at elevated temperatures.
This stainless steel grade maintains excellent strength and corrosion resistance even when exposed to high or sub-zero temperatures. It is suitable for numerous demanding applications, including oil refining equipment and automotive exhaust systems, with a maximum dry air service temperature of up to 850ºC.
AISI 321 is ideal for use in environments up to approximately 900°C, offering a combination of high strength, resistance to scaling, phase stability, and protection against subsequent aqueous corrosion.
