Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy designed for high-temperature applications. It contains about 1.5% cobalt and 1% manganese, offering excellent mechanical strength at both low and high temperatures up to 1050°C. This alloy stands out for its superior heat and corrosion resistance. It performs well against chlorine gas and hydrogen chloride up to roughly 500-550°C, and is also resistant to nitriding, carburizing, and stress corrosion cracking. Note that this material cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
Evek GmbH is your trusted source for Alloy 600, providing high-quality nickel alloys at competitive prices with global delivery.
