Inconel 600 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-iron alloy with approximately 1.5% cobalt and 1% manganese. It stands out for its excellent mechanical strength at both low and high temperatures, up to 1050°C. The alloy offers outstanding heat and corrosion resistance, and is highly resilient to chlorine gas and hydrogen chloride up to about 500-550°C. Inconel 600 (2.4816) also provides good resistance in nitriding and carburizing atmospheres, as well as to stress corrosion cracking. This material cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
Evek GmbH is your trusted source for Alloy 600, supplying premium nickel alloys at competitive prices and delivering worldwide.
Inconel 600 is widely used in industrial furnace manufacturing, including components such as seals for furnace housings, transport rollers, and muffles.
