This material provides excellent resistance in nitriding, carburizing, and oxidizing environments. It also withstands acids such as acetic, formic, hydrofluoric, and fatty acids, as well as ammonia, chlorine, and hydrogen chloride (up to about 500°C). Alloy 600 is known for its resistance to stress corrosion cracking and maintains strong mechanical properties across a broad temperature range, up to 1050°C. Its high nickel content ensures stability in reducing conditions. Note that 2.4816 cannot be hardened. If you need Inconel® 600, Evek GmbH Online Shop offers high-quality nickel alloys with excellent customer service.Due to its outstanding heat resistance, Inconel® 600 is commonly used in furnace construction, for example in transport rollers and seals. It is also employed in reactor construction (such as reactor vessels and steam dryers). Thanks to its resistance to alkaline solutions, this alloy is suitable for manufacturing tubs and pipes. Other typical applications include:- Plant components for the production of chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and fluorine - Automotive industry (high-temperature sensors, bursting discs for airbags) - Vinyl chloride manufacturing (reaction vessels, heat exchangers) - Catalysis generatorsKey features of Inconel® 600:- Excellent resistance to nitriding, carburizing, and oxidizing media - High resistance to acids (acetic, formic, hydrofluoric, and fatty acids), ammonia, chlorine, and hydrogen chloride (up to approx. 500°C) - Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking - Strong mechanical properties over a wide temperature range - Stable in reducing environments - Not hardenablePurchase Alloy 600 from Evek GmbH—your trusted nickel alloy supplier with competitive prices.
