Inconel® 625 (material number 2.4856) is a low-carbon alloy made from nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and niobium. It offers exceptional resistance to various forms of corrosion, including pitting, erosion, crevice, and intergranular corrosion. The alloy is also highly resistant to chlorine-induced stress corrosion and demonstrates excellent durability against mineral acids (such as nitric, hydrochloric, phosphoric, and sulfuric acids), organic acids, and alkalis. In addition, Alloy 625 is known for its solid mechanical properties.
