Inconel® 625, also known as alloy 2.4856, is a nickel-based alloy with low carbon content and a composition including chromium, molybdenum, and niobium. This material offers outstanding resistance to various forms of corrosion, such as pitting, erosion, crevice, and intergranular corrosion, and is also unaffected by chloride-induced stress corrosion. It maintains excellent durability against mineral acids like nitric, hydrochloric, phosphoric, and sulfuric acids, as well as organic acids and alkaline environments.
