This material offers outstanding resistance to various forms of corrosion, such as pitting, erosion, crevice, and intergranular corrosion, and is also unaffected by chloride-induced stress corrosion. It maintains excellent durability against mineral acids like nitric, hydrochloric, phosphoric, and sulfuric acids, as well as organic acids and alkaline environments. Alloy 625 is also recognized for its solid mechanical strength.
