HAYNES® 25 (UNS R30605) is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy known for outstanding high-temperature strength and excellent resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 980°C, even during prolonged exposure. The material also offers superior resistance to sulfidation and metal wear. HAYNES® 25 can be manufactured and shaped using standard methods and is widely used for cast components.
Among all workable cobalt alloys, Haynes 25® stands out for its high strength and remarkable resistance to heat and oxidation up to 2000°F. While the alloy is best hot worked between 1900°F and 2300°F, it is better suited for processes like bending, pressing, and drawing rather than cold forming.
Evek GmbH Online Shop supplies material 2.4964 worldwide, ensuring secure and straightforward shipping as a trusted supplier of various materials.
HAYNES® 25 alloy is easy to form and weld. It can be forged or hot worked if heated thoroughly to 1205°C. Thanks to its good ductility, it can also be cold formed if necessary.
