HAYNES® 25 (UNS R30605) is a high-performance cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy. It offers outstanding resistance to high temperatures and maintains stability in oxidizing environments up to 980°C, even with prolonged exposure. The alloy also demonstrates excellent sulfidation resistance and is highly resistant to metal wear. It can be manufactured and shaped using standard methods and is suitable for casting applications.
The Haynes 25® alloy is the strongest among all formable cobalt alloys and delivers impressive temperature and oxidation resistance up to 2000 °F. For hot working, Haynes 25™ is ideal between 1900 °F and 2300 °F. Alloy L605 is particularly recommended for bending, pressing, and drawing operations, rather than cold forming.
Evek GmbH Online Shop supplies material 2.4964 with worldwide delivery. As a trusted supplier, we ensure safe and efficient shipping for a wide range of materials.
HAYNES® 25 is straightforward to form and weld. It can be forged or hot worked, provided it is uniformly heated to 1205°C. The alloy’s good ductility also allows for cold forming processes.
