HAYNES® 25 (UNS R30605) is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy known for its outstanding high-temperature strength and excellent resistance to oxidation in environments up to 980°C, even with prolonged exposure. It also offers exceptional sulfidation resistance and can be processed or formed using standard manufacturing methods. The alloy is well-regarded for its durability against metal wear and has been successfully used in casting applications.
Among workable cobalt alloys, Haynes 25® stands out for its superior strength. It maintains excellent resistance to heat and oxidation up to 2000 °F, and is best hot worked between 1900 °F and 2300 °F. Alloy L605 is better suited for bending, pressing, and drawing operations rather than cold forming.
Evek GmbH Online Shop supplies material 2.4964 with international shipping. As a trusted supplier, we ensure secure and efficient delivery of various materials.
HAYNES® 25 can be easily formed and welded. It is suitable for forging and other hot working methods, provided it is thoroughly heated to 1205°C. The alloy's good ductility also allows for cold forming.
