Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, as well as small amounts of carbon and silicon. It is suitable for both cold and hot forming processes and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Alloy 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. This grade is easily weldable with all conventional welding methods.
