Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, and contains minor amounts of carbon and silicon. It is highly suitable for both cold and hot forming, offering outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 resists mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also features excellent weldability and can be welded using all standard methods.
