Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy enhanced with tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is suitable for both hot and cold forming processes. It offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also has good weldability and can be joined using all standard welding methods.
