Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. It is highly suitable for both cold and hot forming processes and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Known as 2.4819, this alloy withstands mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also has good weldability and can be welded using all standard methods.
