Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy enhanced with tungsten, and contains trace amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both hot and cold forming and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Grade 2.4819 is resistant to both mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It is easily weldable using all standard welding methods.
