Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is suitable for both cold and hot forming, and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Alloy 2.4819 resists mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It is highly weldable and compatible with all standard welding methods.
