Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, and contains small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming, and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 resists mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also has good weldability and can be welded using all standard methods.
