Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, plus small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is excellent for both cold and hot forming and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. The alloy is easy to weld using all common welding techniques.
