Delivery times depend on the parcel service; please see our FAQ for more details.1.3912 sheet, also known as Invar 36, is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy with approximately 61% iron and 36% nickel, along with manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. This material is known for its exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion, high ductility, and toughness. Cold forming further reduces its thermal expansion rate. It maintains good strength at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, becoming non-magnetic above it.1.3912 (Invar 36) sheet is mainly used for the production and storage of liquefied gases, and is also employed in manufacturing precision pendulum clocks, chronometers, and scientific measuring equipment. Additional applications include:- Components for OLED screens - Aviation, especially CFRP components - Aerospace, such as frames for electronic control units - Optical and laser systems, including laser housings - Components for low-temperature applications - Astronomical and seismographic instrumentsKey features of 1.3912 sheet:- Extremely low thermal expansion - High ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Retains strength at very low temperatures - Ferromagnetic below Curie temperature; non-magnetic aboveEvek GmbH offers high-quality 1.3912 Invar 36 plates at competitive prices. As a trusted supplier of nickel alloys, we ensure fast and reliable worldwide delivery, helping you save time and money.
