Minor scratches may be present due to the production process, and the surface finish is of pure industrial quality. The sheets are cut using guillotine shears, and not all pieces come with a protective film. If the surface quality is important for your project, please contact us before ordering so we can assist you.Length tolerance is +/-2mm.Production time is typically 2-3 weeks, with an additional 2-3 working days for shipping preparation. Delivery times vary based on the parcel service selected; please refer to our FAQ for more details.1.3912 sheet, also known as Invar 36, is an austenitic iron-nickel alloy composed of approximately 61% iron and 36% nickel, with added manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulphur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. This material is known for its exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent ductility, and toughness. Cold forming the sheet further reduces its thermal expansion. It maintains good strength at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, shifting to non-magnetic above this point.Applications for 1.3912 sheet include the production and storage of liquefied gases, manufacturing precision instruments such as pendulum clocks and chronometers, and components for OLED screens, aviation and aerospace parts, optical and laser system housings, low-temperature applications, as well as astronomical and seismographic equipment.Key characteristics: - Very low thermal expansion - High ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Maintains strength at low temperatures - Ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, non-magnetic abovePurchase high-quality 1.3912 (Invar 36) sheets from Evek GmbH. We offer competitive prices and reliable worldwide shipping, helping you save time and money on your nickel alloy requirements.
