The sheets are cut with guillotine shears and may not always come with protective film. If you require a specific surface quality, please contact us before ordering so we can assist you.Length tolerance is +/-2mm.Production time is typically 2-3 weeks, with an additional 2-3 working days needed for shipping preparation. Delivery times depend on the courier service; please refer to our FAQ for more details.1.3912 sheet, also known as Invar 36, is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy, containing about 61% iron and 36% nickel, with additional elements such as manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulphur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. This material is distinguished by its extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent ductility and toughness, and strong performance at cryogenic temperatures. Cold forming can further reduce its thermal expansion. Below its Curie temperature, 1.3912 plate is ferromagnetic; above this temperature, it becomes non-magnetic.Typical applications for 1.3912 sheet include the production and storage of liquefied gases, precision instruments like pendulum clocks and chronometers, as well as components for OLED screens, aerospace and aviation parts (such as CFRP elements and electronic control unit frames), laser and optical system housings, low-temperature components, and scientific instruments used in astronomy and seismology.Key properties of 1.3912 sheet: - Very low thermal expansion - High ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Strong at cryogenic temperatures - Ferromagnetic below Curie temperature, non-magnetic aboveWe offer high-quality Invar 36 plate at competitive prices and provide reliable, worldwide delivery of nickel alloys to save you time and money.
