Please note: Sheet metal cuts are intended for industrial use and are not suitable for decorative or visible applications, as scratches and surface imperfections may occur. The sheets are cut with guillotine shears, and not all come with protective film. If surface quality is important for your project, please contact us for a tailored solution.Length tolerance: +/-2mmProduction time is typically 2-3 weeks, with an additional 2-3 business days required for shipping preparation. Delivery times may vary depending on the parcel service—see our FAQ for details. The 1.3912 sheet is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy, containing approximately 61% iron and 36% nickel, along with trace amounts of manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulphur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. Known as Invar 36, this material is highly ductile and tough, with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. Its thermal expansion rate can be further reduced through cold forming. It maintains good strength even at cryogenic temperatures. The sheet is ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature and becomes non-magnetic above it.1.3912 sheet is mainly used in the production and storage of liquefied gases, as well as in precision devices such as pendulum clocks and chronometers. Other applications include:- Components for OLED screens - Aviation (CFRP parts) - Aerospace (frames for electronic control units) - Optical and laser systems (laser housings) - Low-temperature applications - Astronomical and seismographic instrumentsKey properties of 1.3912 sheet:- Extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion - Excellent ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - High strength at low temperatures - Ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, non-magnetic aboveOrder 1.3912 sheet from Evek GmbH for reliable quality and worldwide delivery.
