Delivery times vary depending on the parcel service—please refer to our FAQ for more details. The 1.3912 sheet is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy, containing about 61% iron and 36% nickel, along with elements like manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. Known as Invar 36, this alloy features a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, high ductility, and toughness. Cold forming further reduces its thermal expansion. The material maintains good strength at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, becoming non-magnetic above it.1.3912 sheet is widely used for the production and storage of liquefied gases, as well as in precision devices such as pendulum clocks, chronometers, and other measuring instruments. It is also utilized in the manufacture of components for OLED screens, CFRP parts in aviation, frames for electronic control units in aerospace, optical and laser system housings, low-temperature components, and astronomical or seismographic instruments.Key properties of 1.3912 sheet include: - Exceptionally low thermal expansion - High ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Maintains strength at low temperatures - Ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature; non-magnetic above itWe offer Invar 36 plates at competitive prices. As a trusted supplier of nickel alloys, we provide efficient worldwide delivery, helping you save both time and money.
