Please note: Sheet metal cuts are intended for industrial use and may not be suitable for decorative or visible applications, as surface scratches and imperfections are possible. The surface is of raw industrial quality, and the sheets are cut with guillotine shears. Not all sheets come with protective film. If the surface finish is important for your project, please contact us so we can find a suitable solution. Length tolerance is +/-2mm.Production time is 2-3 weeks, with an additional 2-3 working days required for shipping preparation. Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping service. For more details, please refer to our FAQ.Our 1.3912 sheet is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy, containing approximately 61% iron and 36% nickel, with additional elements such as manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulphur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. Invar 36 plate is known for its extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, high ductility, and toughness. Cold forming can further reduce its thermal expansion. This material performs well at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, becoming non-magnetic above this point.1.3912 sheet is widely used for the production and storage of liquefied gases and in the manufacturing of precision instruments such as pendulum clocks, chronometers, and measuring equipment. Other common applications include:- Components for OLED screens - Aviation (CFRP parts) - Aerospace (frames for electronic control units) - Optical and laser systems (laser housings) - Low-temperature components - Astronomical and seismographic instrumentsKey properties of 1.3912 sheet:- Exceptionally low thermal expansion - High ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Maintains strength at cryogenic temperatures - Ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, non-magnetic aboveWe offer Invar 36 plate at competitive prices and provide worldwide shipping. As a trusted supplier of nickel alloys, we are committed to making your purchasing process smooth and efficient.
