Please note: Sheet metal cuts are intended for industrial use and are not suitable for decorative or visible applications, as scratches and surface imperfections may be present. The sheets are cut with guillotine shears, and not all come with protective film. If the surface quality is important for your project, please contact us directly so we can discuss possible solutions.Length tolerance is +/-2mm.Production time is typically 2-3 weeks, with shipping preparation taking an additional 2-3 working days. Delivery times depend on the chosen parcel service—see our FAQ for more details.1.3912 sheet (Invar 36) is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy with approximately 61% iron and 36% nickel, and trace amounts of manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. This material is known for its exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion, high ductility, and toughness. Cold forming further reduces its thermal expansion. It maintains good strength at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature, becoming non-magnetic above it.You can purchase 1.3912 sheet from Evek GmbH. We offer high-quality nickel alloys in our online store and are committed to supporting your success.Typical applications for 1.3912 (Invar 36) sheet include: - Production and storage of liquefied gases - Precision pendulum clocks, chronometers, and measurement instruments - Components for OLED screens - CFRP components in aviation - Frames for electronic control units in aerospace - Laser housings in optical and laser systems - Low-temperature application components - Astronomical and seismographic instrumentsMain characteristics of 1.3912 sheet: - Extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion - Good ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Strong performance at cryogenic temperatures - Ferromagnetic below Curie temperature, non-magnetic above itWe offer Invar 36 plate at competitive prices and ensure reliable worldwide delivery. As your trusted supplier of nickel alloys, we help you save both time and money.
