Please note: Sheet metal cuts are intended for industrial use and are not recommended for decorative or visible applications, as scratches are possible and the surface finish meets pure industrial standards. Sheets are cut with guillotine shears, and not all come with protective film. If surface quality is important for your project, please contact us directly to discuss possible solutions.Length tolerance is +/-2mm.Production time is approximately 2-3 weeks, with an additional 2-3 working days for shipping preparation. Delivery time depends on the parcel service; please refer to our FAQ for more details. The 1.3912 sheet, also known as Invar 36, is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy with about 61% iron and 36% nickel, as well as trace elements such as manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. This alloy is known for its exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion, high ductility, and toughness. Cold forming further reduces its thermal expansion rate. The material retains good strength even at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below its Curie point, becoming non-magnetic above it.1.3912 sheet is commonly used in the production and storage of liquefied gases, as well as in precision pendulum clocks, chronometers, and other measuring devices. Other applications include:- Components for OLED screens - Aviation (CFRP components) - Aerospace (frames for electronic control units) - Optical and laser systems (laser housings) - Low-temperature applications - Astronomical and seismographic instrumentsKey properties of 1.3912 sheet include:- Extremely low thermal expansion - Good ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Maintains strength at low temperatures - Ferromagnetic below Curie temperature, non-magnetic aboveWe offer high-quality Invar 36 plates at competitive prices, ensuring reliable worldwide delivery. As a trusted supplier of nickel alloys, we help you save both time and money with a smooth ordering process.
