Please note: Sheet metal cuts are intended for industrial use and may not be suitable for visible or decorative surfaces. Some surface scratches may be present, and not all sheets come with protective film. If you require a specific surface quality, please contact us so we can discuss possible solutions. The sheets are cut using guillotine shears and have a length tolerance of +/-2mm.Production time is approximately 2-3 weeks, with an additional 2-3 business days for shipping preparation. Delivery times vary depending on the shipping service—please refer to our FAQ for more information.1.3912 sheet is made from an austenitic iron-nickel alloy, containing about 61% iron and 36% nickel, along with manganese, cobalt, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, chromium, and silicon. Invar 36 plate stands out for its extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, high ductility, and toughness. Cold forming further reduces its thermal expansion. The material maintains good strength at cryogenic temperatures and is ferromagnetic below its Curie temperature, becoming non-magnetic above it.Typical applications for 1.3912 sheet include the production and storage of liquefied gases, manufacturing precision timepieces and measuring instruments, components for OLED screens, aviation and aerospace parts, optical and laser systems, low-temperature applications, and astronomical or seismographic devices.Key features of 1.3912/Invar 36 sheet: - Very low thermal expansion coefficient - Excellent ductility and toughness - Suitable for cold forming - Maintains strength at cryogenic temperatures - Ferromagnetic below the Curie temperature; non-magnetic abovePurchase high-quality 1.3912 sheet from Evek GmbH.
