Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel, enhanced with approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese, based on an iron matrix. It contains around 17% chromium and 8% nickel. Alloy 218 stands out for its excellent wear resistance, strong mechanical properties, and high corrosion resistance. It also maintains good hardness in the annealed state.
