Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel, enhanced with approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese, with iron as its base. It contains about 17% chromium and 8% nickel. Also known as Alloy 218, this material is known for its excellent wear resistance and strong mechanical properties. It also offers outstanding corrosion resistance and maintains good hardness when annealed.
