Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel, primarily composed of iron, with about 17% chromium, 8% nickel, along with approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese. This alloy, also known as Alloy 218, is recognized for its excellent wear resistance, strong mechanical properties, and outstanding corrosion resistance. It maintains good hardness even in the annealed state.
