Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel, containing approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese, with an iron base. It has about 17% chromium and 8% nickel content. Also known as Alloy 218, this material stands out for its excellent wear resistance, strong mechanical properties, and remarkable corrosion resistance. It also maintains good hardness in the annealed state.
