Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel, enhanced with approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese. Its base is iron, with about 17% chromium and 8% nickel. Alloy 218 stands out for its excellent wear resistance and strong mechanical properties. It is highly resistant to corrosion and maintains good hardness even in the annealed state.
