Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel, enhanced with approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese, based on an iron matrix. The steel contains around 17% chromium and 8% nickel, offering excellent wear resistance and good mechanical strength. It is highly resistant to corrosion and maintains good hardness when annealed.
