Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel enhanced with about 4% silicon and 7% manganese, based on an iron matrix. It contains approximately 17% chromium and 8% nickel, giving it excellent wear resistance and robust mechanical strength. This material is highly resistant to corrosion and maintains good hardness even in the annealed state.
