Nitronic 60 is a high-alloy austenitic chromium-nickel steel, enhanced with approximately 4% silicon and 7% manganese, based on an iron matrix. It contains about 17% chromium and 8% nickel, offering excellent wear resistance and strong mechanical properties. This alloy is also highly resistant to corrosion and maintains good hardness even in the annealed state.
