Haynes 263 is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy that can be age-hardened and is designed for excellent workability in the annealed state, as well as high strength when age-hardened. Compared to similar materials such as Waspaloy or Rene 41, Alloy 263 is easier to form and weld, and it offers outstanding ductility at medium temperatures. Supplied in the annealed condition, Haynes 263 is ideal for both cold and hot forming. Welding can be performed by TIG and MIG methods using a matching welding wire.
At Evek GmbH Online Shop, you can purchase Alloy Haynes 263 with international shipping. As a trusted supplier, we ensure safe and straightforward delivery for a range of materials.
Main features of Haynes 263:
- High strength: Maintains excellent strength at both room and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for demanding environments.
- Oxidation resistance: Provides outstanding resistance to oxidation up to 980°C, making it ideal for turbines and other high-temperature uses.
- Weldability: Easier to weld than many other superalloys, simplifying fabrication and repairs.
Common applications for Haynes 263 include:
- Aerospace: Used in aircraft and rocket engine components such as combustion chambers, nozzles, and afterburners.
- Gas turbines: Suitable for blades, disks, and other parts exposed to high temperatures and stress.
- Chemical industry: Ideal for reactors, heat exchangers, and equipment operating in corrosive and oxidizing environments.
