Haynes 263 is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy that can be age-hardened. It is engineered for excellent workability in the annealed state and high strength after age-hardening. Compared to alloys like Waspaloy or Rene 41, Haynes 263 is easier to form and weld, offering outstanding ductility at intermediate temperatures. It is delivered in an annealed condition and is suitable for both cold and hot forming. Both TIG and MIG welding methods are suitable when using appropriate filler wire.
Evek GmbH Online Shop supplies Haynes 263 alloy with international delivery. As a trusted supplier, we ensure safe and reliable shipping for a variety of materials.
Key features of Haynes 263:
- Exceptional strength at both room and high temperatures, making it ideal for demanding environments
- Excellent oxidation resistance up to 980°C, suitable for turbines and high-temperature uses
- Good weldability compared to other superalloys, simplifying fabrication and repairs
Main applications for Haynes 263:
- Aerospace: Used in aircraft and rocket engine components such as combustion chambers, thrust nozzles, and afterburners
- Gas turbines: Ideal for high-temperature, high-stress parts like turbine blades and discs
- Chemical industry: Suitable for reactors, heat exchangers, and equipment exposed to corrosive and oxidizing conditions
