Haynes 263 is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy that can be age-hardened. It offers excellent workability when annealed and outstanding strength when age-hardened. Compared to alloys like Waspaloy or Rene 41, Haynes 263 is easier to form and weld and maintains good ductility at medium temperatures. Supplied in the annealed state, it is suitable for both cold and hot forming. It can be welded by both TIG and MIG methods using a matching filler wire.
At Evek GmbH Online Shop, you can order Haynes 263 with international delivery. As a trusted supplier, we ensure safe and straightforward shipping for a wide range of materials.
Main features of Haynes 263:
- High strength at both room and elevated temperatures, ideal for demanding environments.
- Outstanding oxidation resistance up to 980°C, perfect for turbines and other high-temperature uses.
- Good weldability compared to other superalloys, enabling easier manufacturing and repairs.
Typical applications for Haynes 263 include:
- Aerospace: Aircraft and rocket engine components such as combustion chambers, thrust nozzles, and afterburners.
- Gas turbines: Components exposed to high temperatures and stresses, like turbine blades and disks.
- Chemical industry: Reactors, heat exchangers, and equipment operating in corrosive and oxidizing environments.
