Alloy Haynes 263 is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy that is age-hardenable and features excellent workability in its annealed state, along with high strength when age-hardened. It is easier to form and weld compared to similar materials like Waspaloy or Rene 41, and offers outstanding ductility at moderate temperatures. Haynes 263 is delivered in the annealed condition, suitable for both hot and cold forming. Welding can be performed using TIG or MIG methods with the appropriate filler material.
Evek GmbH Online Shop supplies Haynes 263 alloy and offers international shipping. As your dependable material supplier, we ensure safe and reliable delivery.
Main advantages of Haynes 263:
- Exceptional strength at both ambient and high temperatures, ideal for demanding environments.
- Excellent oxidation resistance up to 980°C, suitable for turbines and other high-temperature settings.
- Good weldability, making manufacturing and repairs easier compared to other superalloys.
Typical applications for Haynes 263 include:
- Aerospace: components for aircraft and rocket engines such as combustion chambers, nozzles, and afterburners.
- Gas turbines: high-temperature and high-stress parts like turbine blades and disks.
- Chemical industry: reactors, heat exchangers, and other equipment used in corrosive and oxidizing environments.
