Haynes 263 is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy that can be age-hardened. It offers excellent workability in the annealed state and impressive strength after age hardening. Compared to other superalloys like Waspaloy or Rene 41, Haynes 263 is easier to form and weld, and it maintains excellent ductility at medium temperatures. Supplied in the annealed condition, it is suitable for both cold and hot forming, and can be welded using TIG or MIG methods with compatible welding wire.
Evek GmbH Online Shop provides Haynes 263 alloy with international shipping. As a trusted supplier, we ensure safe and straightforward delivery of various materials.
Key features of Haynes 263:
- High strength at both room and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for demanding environments.
- Outstanding oxidation resistance up to 980°C, ideal for turbines and high-temperature applications.
- Good weldability compared to other superalloys, facilitating easier manufacturing and repairs.
Common applications for Haynes 263 include:
- Aerospace: Parts for aircraft and rocket engines such as combustion chambers, thrust nozzles, and afterburners.
- Gas turbines: Components exposed to high temperatures and loads, including turbine blades and disks.
- Chemical industry: Reactors, heat exchangers, and other equipment used in corrosive and oxidizing conditions.
