Alloy C276, also known as 2.4819, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy enhanced with tungsten, and contains small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is highly suitable for both cold and hot forming processes. It delivers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Alloy C276 is unaffected by both mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. The alloy offers excellent weldability and is compatible with all conventional welding techniques.
