Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming processes. It provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Designated as 2.4819, it is highly resistant to both mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. The alloy has excellent weldability and can be joined by all standard welding methods.
