Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. It is suitable for both hot and cold forming and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. The material, designated as 2.4819, is resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also features good weldability and can be welded using all standard methods.
