Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy enhanced with tungsten and small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is highly suitable for both cold and hot forming processes. It offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Alloy 2.4819 stands up well to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. The grade has excellent weldability, compatible with all standard welding methods.
