This material is known for its excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization up to approximately 1000°C, and it performs well in both oxidizing and reducing sulphur-containing environments. Incoloy® 800 is easy to process thanks to solution annealing, offering improved creep rupture strength at high temperatures.
