This material stands out for its excellent resistance in oxidizing and reducing environments that contain sulfur and resists oxidation and carburization up to about 1000 °C. Incoloy® 800 is easy to process, particularly through solution annealing, which enhances its performance under high temperatures. It is also easy to cold form (up to 6 mm thickness) and weldable by all common welding methods.1.4876 is mainly used in furnace construction, especially for furnace muffles, and in the chemical industry, such as for hydrogen production. Additional applications include:- Heat treatment plant components - Power plant components for high-temperature areas - Environmental protection facilities - Laboratory equipment - Quenching systemsKey properties of 1.4876:- Excellent resistance in sulfurous oxidizing and reducing environments - Stable against oxidation and carburization up to about 1000 °C - Good processability via solution annealing - Enhanced creep rupture strength at high temperatures - Good cold formability - Excellent weldability with all common processesEvek GmbH offers a wide selection of nickel alloys, including 1.4876, at competitive prices and with a commitment to quality.
