This material offers excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments containing sulphur, and remains stable against oxidation and carburization up to approximately 1000°C. Thanks to solution annealing, it has good workability and improved creep rupture strength at high temperatures. It is suitable for cold forming up to 6 mm thickness and can be welded using all standard welding processes.Typical uses for 1.4876 include furnace construction (such as furnace muffles), hydrogen production in the chemical industry, heat treatment equipment, high-temperature components in power plant construction, environmental protection systems, laboratory technology, and quenching systems.Key properties of 1.4876: - Excellent resistance in sulphur-containing oxidizing and reducing environments - Resistant to oxidation and carburization up to ~1000°C - Good processability via solution annealing - Enhanced creep rupture strength at high temperatures - Good cold formability - Excellent weldability with all welding methodsEvek GmbH supplies high-quality nickel alloys, including 1.4876, at competitive prices.
