This alloy is known for its excellent resistance in both oxidizing and reducing sulphur-containing environments. It remains resistant to oxidation and carburization up to approximately 1000°C. Incoloy® 800 is easily processed through solution annealing, resulting in enhanced creep rupture properties at high temperatures.
