Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with small amounts of aluminum and titanium. This material is highly resistant to oxidation at elevated temperatures and performs well in sulfur-containing environments. Known as 2.4851, it offers excellent scaling resistance and heat stability, making it suitable for use at temperatures up to 1150 °C. The alloy also demonstrates strong resistance to carburizing conditions and aggressive gases.
Evek GmbH supplies Inconel 601 at competitive prices. As a trusted provider of nickel alloys, we ensure secure and straightforward delivery.
2.4851 is primarily used in furnace construction and gas turbine components. Other typical applications for Inconel 601 include:
- Heat treatment facilities
- Chemical processing industry
- Environmental protection equipment
- Automotive industry (diesel engine components)
- Ash conveyor systems
Main characteristics of 2.4851:
- Outstanding oxidation resistance at high temperatures
- Excellent scaling and heat resistance
- Usable at temperatures up to 1150 °C
- Good resistance in carburizing atmospheres
- Resistant to aggressive gases
