Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with small additions of aluminum and titanium. This material is highly resistant to oxidation at elevated temperatures and can be used in sulfur-containing environments. It provides excellent scaling resistance, outstanding heat resistance, and is suitable for continuous operation at temperatures up to 1150 °C. Inconel 601 also offers good performance in carburizing conditions and against aggressive gases.
